Our Story
Band History & Passion
My Dads Band is a group of talented musicians with a deep-rooted passion for creating and performing music. Established just 6 months ago, they have been sharing their love for music through live performances, captivating audiences with their unique sound and energy.
After Louis Morrows ( Bass) previous band disbanded, he decided he wanted to create something new. With the help of his good friend Steve Bell, the lead guitarist in his last band, they started what soon became known as "My Dads Band". When Searching for a Drummer and Vocalist they came across Alan Johnstone (Drums) and Russel Kettle (Vocals), who were both in search of a new project with the primary focus of just playing music and having fun. When deciding what to name the band they ended up landing on "My Dads Band" poking fun at the fact that they were all middle-aged dads.

Self Taught! Self Run!
Not only are all the musicians in the band self- taught in their respective areas, but they are also managing the band themselves. Each time the band wants to setup a gig they take a step back from their busy lives and go in person to the venue and speak with the manager about setting up a gig.
Original Compositions
Musical Creativity Unleashed
Although currently they have no released original music, new original compositions are in the works! By July, My Dads Band will have an 11 song album released titled "My Dad Rocks".
